Summer Sampler- September 10th- 14th 2009

Durango is an outdoor lover's paradise in the summer time. Adventures such as rafting, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and camping are found literally IN town. We have developed a "Durango Summer Sampler" program that is gearing up for the second year.

Funded in 2009 by a partnership with Disabled Sports USA (DS/USA) and the Wounded Warrior Project, the Summer Sampler features a day of fly fishing lessons, canoeing and kayaking on an area lake, a river trip on the Colorado River in Moab, Utah and an overnight camping trip. We are looking for 4-5 Veterans to join us for this fantastic adventure!

The scholarship includes transportation to Durango, lodging, most meals, and four days of outdoor adventure! Tentative dates for this years sampler are September 10th-14th. If you are interested in joining us for this summer sampler, let us know ASAP!

For an application, please contact Ann Marie Meighan at annmarie@asaudurango.com
