Durango is an outdoor lovers paradise in the summer time. Adventures such as rafting, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and camping are found literally IN town. We have developed a "Durango Summer Sampler" program that just finished its inaugural year.

Funded in 2008 by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation, the Summer Sampler offered a day of fly fishing lessons on the Animas River, a 2 day river trip on the Colorado River in Moab, Utah and an overnight camping trip. 5 participants from around the country joined us on this sunny adventure!

The scholarship includes transportation to Durango, lodging, most meals, and 4 days of outdoor adventure! If you are interested in joining us for the next summer sampler, let us know ASAP!
